Content Migration, Web, UX/UI
UBC Sauder School of Business provides a global business perspective at a dynamic crossroads of the international marketplace.
01 Summary
As a contractor part of the Marketing & Communications (marcomm) team responsible for web page production using the Drupal 8 content management system, migration and assembly of content from the existing UBC Sauder to UBC Sauder’s new web platform, editing and/or resizing of graphical web assets, implementation of on page SEO attributes, and Quality assurance and testing of website functionality and/or content. I used design thinking concepts to ideate effective UX solutions that created value for the team as we moved through the design and production phases of the project.

Profile Feature
This feature helps direct the targeted users to specifically curated sections of the website based on their profile and status.

Quicklinks Function
There are a number of areas, pages and sections throughout the website that include large numbers of body copy. Trying to transition away from tabs to get around this problem, by minimizing the amount of scrolling for the users, we devised a plan to use a quicklinks function. When in a section of the page that has large amounts of information or body copy the quicklinks function will appear and stick to the top so you can open it and jump to any part of the designated quicklinks sectioned areas.

Program Page Layout
Many iterations to the functions and features of components on the website have been changed and/or updated since its conception to get it to how it looks here. But once we've figured out the optimal solution through user testing and feedback we had what now serves as a backbone template for all other program pages.

Wireframes & Mockups
Aside from the website, which was the larger priority, other tasks I had were in creating a better experience within the content management side of things.
