Green Rubee Wellness's mission is through proper nourishment and love of both the body and mind – healing on every level can be achieved.

01 The Goal

For this project there were two main focuses: refreshing the brand and creating labels for the products, oral care and essential oils, that reflect the brand.

02 The Problem

The original labels for Green Rubee Wellness needed a complete overhaul. They were the wrong size/dimensions for one, the colours were off and the copy within the labels needed to be updated. Some of the issues I ran into with this portion was that the owner didn't know what size bottles/jars she was getting so it made it extremely difficult to design for – not knowing how much space I'm working with and how much copy will be on the label.

03 The Approach

The first step was to establish and lock down the brand image, colours, and how this might translate through collateral products. I did this by, not re-branding, but rather updating subtle details to the original logo. Along with this, I updated and adjusted brand colours that work well with web and print. Once the refresh was complete the next step was to create labels for the oral care and essential oil products.

04 The Result

There initially was a lot of back and forth in the beginning with the amount of copy to the size and shape of the labels. To overcome this problem I sat down with Yuko, the owner, to go over some of the options for amber bottles/jars – the pro's and con's of each. This provided the necessary push to confirm and lockdown the 3 bottle dimensions which helped me do my part in all of this more efficiently. The result made for a clean, strong and unified brand look for the product line.

Essential Oil Labels

For the essential oils product line, it was much easier to create following the oral care labels. To keep the layout consistent I used the same Green Rubee treatment on the left and the name of the product in the middle with the addition of creating fun colours for each oil.
